The Audience
We believe that inclusivity is inherent in participation and activity in sport.
Winter PrideFest, the Pacific Northwest’s first LGBTQ+ ski weekend, is an all-inclusive event – we invite everyone, including friends, families, and youth to join us in celebration.
Our extensive marketing of the event through various Social Media outlets, including Instagram and targeted Facebook ads, has a reach of over 600,000 individuals and continues to expand.
Winter PrideFest has grown from 150 participants in its inaugural year in 2018 to approximately 1,200 in 2022, two-thirds of whom come from outside of Central Oregon, primarily Oregon, Washington, and Northern California. We are anticipating over 1,500 participants in 2023.
For 2023, in partnership with BendFilm, we are introducing OUT in Focus FilmFest, bringing several new queer films to be screened throughout the weekend, attracting an additional cohort of individuals to the weekend celebration.
