
Winter PrideFest presented by Gear Fix – Celebrating Inclusivity Outdoors – Bend, Oregon + Mt. Bachelor
Full weekend of fun and inspiring Winter events. Winter PrideFest is not your typical “gay ski weekend”. We celebrate Pride, Inclusivity, and our combined love of the outdoors in Bend and at Mt. Bachelor. Winter PrideFest is made possible thanks to generous support of sponsors – including Visit Bend Cultural Tourism Fund.

Thursday March 3rd
7-10pm – Welcoming Snocial: Free @Box Factory – Meet with old and new friends, grab a drink/dinner and pick-up your FREE Winter PrideFest Neck Tube. Join us at the Historic Box Factory where several business welcome WinterPridefest guests, including Gearfix, Immersion Brewing, AVID Cider, Tokyo Starfish and Crosscut Warming Hut.

5:30-7pm March 3rd, 4th, and 5th) – “Who’s o Top” Film Screening with BendFilm – a feature-length documentary which shines a spotlight on members of the LGBTQ community—including those with a range of mountaineering experience—who challenge stereotypes about gender and sexuality in the outdoor arena at Mt. Hood, Oregon.
6-9pm Panel Discussion + Mixer – Inclusivity in the Outdoors @OSU Cascades Ray Hall – doors open at 5:30pm; panel starts at 6pm, and mixer is after (around 7:30pm) – sponsored by OSU Cascades DEI Lab – hosted by Pattiegonia (Wyn Wiley (they/them)); panelists include Pınar Sinopoulos-Lloyd (they/them), Zavier Borja (he/el), Devin Fei-Fan Tau (he/him), Leah Persichilli (she/her) and Stacey Rice (she/her). Hear and discuss what is currently being done and what each of us as individuals, organizations, and community can do to continue increasing inclusivity in the outdoors. Come early for a mixer. Friday March 4th
- 9am -4pm – Group Snowshoe + Cross Country Skiing @ Deschutes National Forest – (SOLD OUT)
- 9am – 4pm – Mountain Guides for ski/snowboard. Meet at 9:00am (ready to roll at 9:30am!!) at Gear Fix rainbow tent by West Village Lodge (top of hot walk) by Operation Alpine mountain guides.
- 7-10pm – ‘Wigs//an Icebreaker’ @Seventh Mountain Resort – ice skating with wigs!! A fun and silly way for participants to connect. This event is all ages – so bring your kiddos!$10 to skate – rentals available – free for non-skaters
- 7-11pm – Bonfire on the Snow with Wanderlust Tours -Deep snow awaits our exploration on snowshoes under the starry skies! Strap on the snowshoes to a spectacular, hand-carved amphitheater in the snow. Snow chairs will have been hand-carved into the snow and a bonfire will be glowing. Dessert and hot cocoa with a splash of Hazelnut Espresso Vodka will be served before heading back to civilization. Cost: $120 per person (10% off with code: PrideWander22), includes: Transportation, guides, snowshoes, prepared amphitheater and fire, dessert and hot cocoa- please note that this cost does not include a gratuity for the guide. Saturday March 5th
- 9am – 4pm – ‘Pride Celebration‘ @Mt. Bachelor – The weekends biggest day at the mountain – celebrate outside with Pride – everyone is welcome to alpine skiing, Drag Tubing, and mix/mingle with Music by DJ Jules Juke in the West Village Lodge!
- 9am -4pm – Group Snowshoe @ Deschutes National Forest – (SOLD OUT)

- 7pm Apes Ski Party @ Downtown Bend – Continue to show your Pride in Downtown Bend with this ‘Apres Ski’ cocktail hour! at Crater Lake Spirits, Dogwood Cocktail Cabin, and Campfire Hotel ***NOTE: Space is limited and registration does not guarantee entry. First come, first served**
- 7pm ‘Apres Tea Party’ @Somewhere That’s Green – “For the Cozy Queer” *Live Drag Piano * Metolius Tea + Mugs and Pastries Available!! First Come First Served, Limited Space + Must be Fully Vaccinated
- Dance Party March 5th: $20 @10 Barrel (Proof of COVID Vaccination Required)
- 9pm – 1am Dance Party @10 Barrel the fun of ‘Winter PrideFest’ continues this queer dance party. Enjoy a space for all queer people to come together liberate! celebrate! and dance! Music by DJ LeMix – Checkout last years party – Tickets $20 – (Proof of COVID Vaccination Required or negative PCR Test within 48hrs)
