Bend City Counsel member Barb Campbell will be having the Human Dignity Coalition and citizens of Bend accept a proclamation to recognize June as Pride Month!

While pride month has been recognized and celebrated since 1970, Bend has never officially recognized this worldwide event.
This proclamation is just one of many steps needed for Central Oregon to show true solidarity with our fellow LGBTQ+ Oregonians.
If you are interested in standing with us to witness this historic moment, come out to City Hall this Wednesday, June 6th at 6pm! Wear your pride gear! Bring pride flags and make signs! Show your solidarity, and increase the visibility for our community and our pride. The power in our numbers and the strength of our voices will help to show City Hall and all of Bend who we are, and what we stand for in our community! Bend is constantly striving to promote diversity, inclusion, and pride in our community! Let’s hold true to our promises and vision for a better Bend! Let’s stand up for the rights and visibility of our neighbors, our friends, our families, and our broader Bend community!
