Welcome Here Project – Kingston, Ontario

Taking action towards making the communities in Oregon more inclusive is our mission.  This year you, as a business owner, can participate in making your business more inclusive to people of color, transgender people, and LGBTQ+ people by displaying this sticker in your entrance.

This symbol is one version of the Pride flag, called the “Progress” Pride Flag, and it includes specific colors that represent the transgender community (pink & blue) and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community.  These colors are universally recognizable within the body of people we serve at OUT Central Oregon.

When you choose to have this sticker visible at your business we will know we are welcome as your patrons. Not only is this valuable for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC tourists who are visiting, but more importantly it tells people who live here where they can choose to shop and do business.

This is one step you can take to promote your business and also to promote safety, inclusion, and solidarity with people of color and LGBTQ+ customers.
