In June 2023, Tyler Running announced to OUT Central Oregon’s Board of Directors of his intent to depart from the Organization. Mr. Running agreed to assist the Organization by joining the Board in March 2023, on an interim basis, during a period of significant change.
As part of his notification, Mr. Running elaborated on his time with the Board and how he views the future of the Organization. “During my short tenure on the Board, I was able to witness the work and planning you all have provided to ensure OUT Central Oregon remains dedicated to serving the LGBTQ+ community in Central Oregon. Now that new Board Members have or will be joining the Board, I feel as though now is an appropriate time to offer my resignation so the new team can lead OUT Central Oregon into the future. I sincerely see a bright future for the organization and am happy to have served it over the last several months.”
The current Board of Directors would like to once again thank Mr. Running for his service to the Organization. Mr. Running’s resignation was effective June 30, 2023.
