Transgender Day of Remembrance at The Haven

November 20th is Transgender Day of Remembrance- a day to honor the lives of transgender people who were murdered in 2019 simply for being who they are.
This year we will be gathering at The Haven to recognize the trans folks lost, and celebrate the trans folks here in Central Oregon who are thriving.
We’ll start the evening with an Allyship training on how to be a trans ally, particularly to trans women of color.
We’ll then read the names of the 2019 victims to honor their lives.
A photo gallery of local trans folks and their stories will be open to walk through.
This fundraising event is free and open to the public, any funds collected will be used to further the mission of Human Dignity Coalition.
