We’ll also be pouring new wines from Lares Wines’ Luke Wylde, who has just as much flair with a name: Try his “Wicked Liquid” sparkling rosé and “Disco Made Me Do It” blend featuring barrel-aged apple cider.
Finally, we invite Mike with Franchere Wine Co., – a gay-owned and operated winery.

Sourced from high-elevation Underwood Mountain near Hood River, this is a complete and harmonious white wine that hits the pleasure button in a big way. It’s bursting with ripe juicy tangerine on the attack, with hints of peach and apricot, and revved up by the warm spice flavor of cinnamon. Understated characteristics of hay, stones, and green herbs add still more interest. The wine resolves toward tarter flavors on the medium finish, accented by tangerine zest. Fermented in stainless steel tanks.
“For Heaven’s Sake” is a juicy and mineral orange wine made by cofermenting 85% Pinot gris and 15% Grüner veltliner with 10 days of skin contact. It’s unfined, unfiltered, and the color of a tequila sunrise! Even as it’s plenty juicy on the palate – think nectarine, orange zest, and tart cherries – it’s also strongly suggestive of stones and petrichor, while the fine and persistent tannins provide structure. The minerality on the finish evokes alpine creek water infused with quinine; it’s very
refreshing. Finished and aged for 7 months in neutral oak barrels.
