Pride Month continues with several movie screenings with OUT in Focus and BendFilm.
Join us June 16th @8pm in Tin Pan Alley for a screening of ‘Paris is Burning’.A chronicle of New York’s drag scene in the 1980s, focusing on balls, voguing and the ambitions and dreams of those who gave the era its warmth and vitality. Providing a sense of community and support groups from each house compete in elaborate balls that take cues from the world of fashion. The film features interviews with a number of renowned performers including Willi Ninja, Pepper LaBeija and Dorian Corey.
