In Tin Pan Alley for a screening of ‘Paris is Burning’. A chronicle of New York’s drag scene in the 1980s, focusing on balls, voguing and the ambitions and dreams of those who gave the era its warmth and vitality. Providing a sense of community and support groups from each house compete in elaborate balls that take cues from the world of fashion. The film features interviews with a number of renowned performers including Willi Ninja, Pepper LaBeija and Dorian Corey.
