It’s Raining Friends: Celebrating Central Oregon Pride * Dog Adoption + Drag Queens *

Join your queer friends + allies at Silver Moon on Wednesday, June 22 for a family-friendly get together in celebration of Pride Central Oregon. The Rawley Project will be on site at the brewery hosting a dog adoption all evening! Come meet fabulous drag queens Fertile Liza and D’Auntie Buckskin and catch amazing live music from local singer-songwriter + guitar virutoso Pete Kartsounes from 6-8.
Youth outreach organizations like Cascade Youth & Family Center, Grandma’s House of Central Oregon, and J Bar J will be present to speak to the risks LGBTQ+ youth face and experience, including homelessness, and the resources available to them in our community.
Chat with volunteers and representatives from other Central Oregon organizations keeping our communities inclusive, kind, and caring. Learn how to get involved in the human end of the leash from our friends at Companion Animal Medical Project (CAMP Clinics) and The Rawley Project/ FIX Bend. Compassionate Canines of Central Oregon will be in attendance with their fabulous furry therapy dogs. Come say hello and get some lovin’ from these puppers and their humans.
Bend Redmond Habitat for Humanity will be on site to share information about affordable housing work in our region and how to get involved with Habitat projects locally.
